Inspiring the next generation of educators! 🍎📚

Canyon ISD welcomed more than 100 high school students from across the district for our 2nd Annual Grow to Teach Conference!

Students in our Education & Training programs spent the day learning from experienced educators, exploring careers in education and discovering the impact they can make in the lives of future students.

We're proud to provide opportunities that encourage our students to pursue their passion for teaching and help prepare the next generation of educators!

Great service starts with a heart for people! ❤️

Our Fall Business & Community Leaders Luncheon brought together local business leaders, educators and community partners for meaningful conversations about leadership, customer service and building a culture that puts people first.

This year’s “Service with a Smile” panel featured leaders from Chick-fil-A, Inc. and First United Bank, who shared valuable perspectives on developing future leaders, creating positive experiences and preparing students for success beyond the classroom.

A special thank you to Schneider Electric and HTeaO for helping make this event possible!

We’re grateful for the business and community leaders who continue to show up, share their experiences and invest in the success of Canyon ISD students. When our schools and community work together, our students benefit!

Around 800 Canyon ISD seniors met at West Texas A&M University for our College Fair, where they had the chance to connect with 40 colleges, universities and local employers and explore the many paths available after high school.

From hearing directly from current WT students about campus life to learning how to prepare for the transition ahead, the morning was all about helping our seniors feel more prepared for their next chapter.

Thank you to WT for opening your campus to our students and helping us create conversations and connections!

For more than 25 years, the Education Foundation of Canyon ISD has helped turn community support into opportunities for our students and educators.

From classroom resources and student-led service projects to scholarships and support for new teachers, the Foundation’s impact can be seen throughout Canyon ISD.

In this month’s Canyon ISD Connect, we’re taking a closer look at where that support goes, the opportunities available to our students and staff, and how our community can be part of the Foundation’s continued impact.
