Premier High School - Canyon Tuition-free public charter school serving grades 9-12 At Premier High School, the success of our students is what matters most.

Some students need a new opportunity, while others seek an individualized educational approach that is not offered by traditional schools. Whether a student has fallen behind or simply wants to get ahead, our true learner-based environment program is designed to ensure that they learn and succeed. Premier High School’s personalized approach to learning allows students to work at their own level of

understanding and rate of learning, regardless of age or grade level. We also allow the student to control the pace of his or her learning and allow the teacher to focus on the specific needs of that individual student. Based on an initial evaluation, teachers will create a personalized academic program uniquely tailored to meet your student’s needs. Premier High School is a campus of ResponsiveEd® and is accredited with the Texas Education Agency as a public school designed to provide an effective, research-based education for our students. The learning systems models of ResponsiveEd are accredited with AdvancED™.

Hi, I'm Andrea Walker, and I'm honored to serve as the Campus Director for Premier High School Amarillo & Canyon.

As a lifelong educator and proud member of the Texas Panhandle community, I've spent my career believing that every learner deserves someone who sees their potential before they see their obstacles. My heart has always been rooted in advocacy—for students of all ages, for adult learners returning to finish what they started, and for the veterans who have given so much in service to others. I believe education should create opportunity, restore confidence, and open doors at every stage of life.

I also believe learning should be connected to where we live. Our schools are part of the fabric of Amarillo and Canyon, and I want our students to build relationships with the businesses, organizations, and people who make our communities strong. When education and community come together, students discover purpose, belonging, and possibilities they may have never imagined.

Education isn't one-size-fits-all. Every learner has a unique story, and every family deserves a partner who will listen, encourage, and walk alongside them. Whether you're exploring a different path through high school or returning to earn your diploma as an adult, our team is committed to meeting you where you are and helping you reach your goals.

My promise is simple: to lead with integrity, serve with compassion, and keep students at the center of every decision we make.
