Kids Cove will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, July 16. Kids Cove follows Comal ISD for school closures or delays due to bad weather.

Comal ISD is cancelling all student activities on Thursday, July 16. The district has made this decision to prioritize the safety of students, staff and communities.

This includes athletic and fine arts camps, Extended School Year Services, summer School Age Child Care (SACC), and Community Education classes.

Summer School Age Child Care (SACC) will resume on Friday as long weather allows. All other activities and classes will resume on Monday, July 20.

Due to the severe flood warning in our area, Kids Cove will implement a 2-hour delayed opening today, Monday, June 15, and will open at 8:45 AM.

Update on Trunk or Treat Event.

Dear Friends,

Given some light damage to church property that makes playground & areas around it unsafe, & with more storms potentially on the way this afternoon, it’s out of an abundance of caution that we are canceling Trunk or Treat.

While this was not an easy call to make, our priority is making sure that all volunteers, and participants are safe.

This event will not be rescheduled.

We are so sorry, and praying that everyone stays safe with this weather!

This week’s learning unit was about community helpers. I want to send out a huge thank you to our local Canyon Lake Fire Department for coming to our school to meet with our children and talk about fire safety! *The children’s faces are not shown for a reason. To celebrate the end of a great summer, we pied one of our wonderful summer camp teachers. It was a great way to send Miss Kaylee off to college too! 😎 Our summer camp children got to choose who received the honor of pieing their teacher and so that is why I am the one doing it. (Only showing the back of the children is intentional to help protect their privacy). 💜💜💜
