🍎📚 Back-to-School Information 📚🍎
We are excited to welcome our students and families back for another amazing school year!

🎉 Back-to-School Night Events – Thursday, August 20
🍎 Humbolt Elementary 4:00–6:00 PM: Come meet your child's teacher, see the classroom, and get ready for the new school year!
🍔 District BBQ at GU 6:00–8:00 PM: Join us after Back-to-School Night for a community BBQ and celebrate the start of the school year together!

📚 First Day of School
• Grades 1–6: Monday, August 24
• Kindergarten: Students will attend either Wednesday, August 26, or Thursday, August 27. Families will be notified of their child's assigned day at Back-to-School Night.

🎒 School Supplies
School supplies are provided for all students! Please send your child with:
✔️ A backpack
✔️ A water bottle
✔️ PE shoes

🍽️ Free Breakfast & Lunch
Breakfast and lunch will be free for all students again this school year!

We can't wait to see everyone on August 20 and kick off another fantastic year at Humbolt Elementary!

🚨 Super Important Last-Minute Meal Pickup Change 🚨PLEASE SHARE

Due to current air quality conditions, we have made changes to today's meal pickup locations.

Humbolt: Pickup will be inside the cafeteria.

📍 Malone/7th Street: There will be two pickup locations:

Children who normally walk to pick up their lunches can go to Bare Bones Bowling Alley.
Anyone driving should go to Grant Union, inside the entrance to the New Gym.

📍 Mount Vernon Park: Pickup will be inside Moon Mountain Coffee (formerly the Silver Spur Restaurant).
