Tate High School Earns an A.

The Tate High School Automotive Service Academy recently had the opportunity to visit Velocity Restorations, where our students experienced firsthand what it takes to transform classic vehicles into modern masterpieces.

The students who attended are all ASE-certified, and we are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and achievements within the automotive industry pathway. Experiences like this help connect classroom learning to real-world careers and inspire our students to continue striving for excellence.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Velocity for opening their doors to our students and investing in the next generation of industry leaders.

Opportunities like this help our students see what is possible through passion, hard work, and technical skill. Thank you again to the entire Velocity team for making this experience such a success for our Aggies.

The Tate Theatre family!

This year, Tate High School inducted 29 new Thespians into the troupe — the largest induction class in program history. For perspective, the highest number of students ever involved in the club prior to this year was 27, and this season the program has more than doubled in size. What an amazing reflection of the growth, talent, dedication, and passion of our Aggies.

The evening also provided an opportunity to celebrate our seniors as they took the Tate stage one final time, while recognizing several outstanding students with Legacy Awards for their leadership, service, and commitment to the performing arts.

Tate High School’s National Honor Society recently took on a meaningful service project to support families at the Ronald McDonald House Northwest Florida. Our NHS members organized a supply drive and used those donations to create 36 baby shower gift bags filled with essentials for families welcoming newborns during difficult times.

This project is a reminder that small acts of kindness can make a big impact. We are proud of our Aggies for stepping up, giving back, and showing what it truly means to care for their community.

Tate High School Faculty and Staff are proud to go Casual for Kids this Friday in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida!

We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with an organization that makes such a meaningful impact on families in our community. Supporting RMHC is a small way for us to give back and help provide comfort, care, and resources to those who need it most.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida has served as a home-away-from-home and source of respite and resources for more than 29,000 adults and children.

Happy Earth Day from Tate High School!

Today in Marine Science, Ms. Stephanie Gzybowski’s class brought learning to life with a hands-on oil spill simulation. Students explored real-world environmental challenges by using floating oil booms, skimmers, absorbents, and dispersants to clean up a simulated spill.

This engaging activity gave students the opportunity to think critically, problem solve, and better understand how science is used to protect our oceans and environment.

We love seeing our Aggies learning in meaningful ways that connect the classroom to the real world. Great job to Ms. Gzybowski and her students for making Earth Day impactful and memorable!

Tate High School Spring Orchestra Concert

Our Tate High School Orchestras delivered an incredible Spring Orchestra Concert, showcasing the hard work, talent, and growth of our student musicians.

Orchestra programs play a vital role in student learning by developing discipline, creativity, collaboration, and confidence. Performances like this reflect not only musical skill, but also the dedication and teamwork our students demonstrate every day.

We are especially proud of the outstanding leadership of our Director of Orchestras, Ms. Catherine McConnell. Her passion and commitment to excellence continue to inspire our students and strengthen our program.
