Just over 1 year ago I was lost at sea for 6 hours. It was a long hard day filled with a lot of emotions for me, my family, and my friends. The story that goes along with it is an epic tale of survival, but it didn't begin there. The story is so surreal and so incredible that I finally took the time to write it down, and now that story as well as 6 others that have been told around many campfires, boat briefings, and car rides is now available for everyone of you.
Yes, I have finally published a book of "Barry Stories"!
The book is now live on Amazon and I had hoped to have copies of it at the Lionfish tournament this weekend for sale, but alas, the publishing company wont have the books here until another week.
If you'd like a copy you can go to the link provided by the QR code in the photo below, or go to Amazon (Search "Moments from the Deep") and buy it. I have ordered a bunch of copies though and I will ship you a signed copy free of charge while supplies last when my order of 40 comes next weekend.
Stories include:
When the Ocean Roars: A true story of a wreck diver, a turtle, and
when the ocean stops whispering its warning
The Trimix Card Returns: A true story about the bonds that don’t
break—they just change depth
One-Armed Jesus: A True Cautionary Tale of Middle Fingers,
Faith, and Poor Judgment
Fish Eyeballs and Gummy Bears: The true story of how a simple fish cleaningturned into a legendary story
Near Drowning: The true story of the day the ocean stopped being forgiving
Urinalysis Gone Bad: The unfortunately true story of when hazard pay should have been part of the consent form
Between the Dock and the Dive: True stories of the messy side of diving you won’t find on Instagram
Thank you to all my friends who have helped me proof this over the last couple of months, there have been many. And to Copilot whom without you, I'd never even started trying to put this into book form. (I know you are listening).
If you love, or hate it, or find some typo that CoPilot missed. Think of dropping me a line and letting me know.
Thanks to everyone of my friends out there. As I have said 1000 times this last year..... It's good to be seen!
