This morning’s breakfast menu included red raspberry French toast with bourbon custard cream, sausage gravy over homemade hot biscuits, and a fruit salad of strawberries, raspberries, and grapes in an orange juice glaze with fresh mint.

The amazing men of the Canton Fire Department enjoyed a hot breakfast, plenty of laughs, and great camaraderie. This is exactly why I keep doing what I do — bringing a little joy to the people who serve our community.

So much fun in Chef’s kitchen with culinary student Karin, making my Peach Galette! This time I added Fiori di Sicilia — “Flowers of Sicily” — to the Pâte Brisée, and it brought the most enchanting new dimension of flavor. That hint of vanilla and citrus blossom against the peaches is absolute magic. 🍑✨ decorated with fresh lemon, mint, and gold leaf.
