🐾 Welcome, Coach Greg Eibel!

At the Aug. 17 Board of Education meeting, Coach Eibel was officially hired as Canton South’s new cross-country coach!

Mr. Eibel brings 27 years of experience in education and 20 years of coaching experience. Since 2024, he has served as our middle school track and cross-country coach and currently teaches at Canton South High School in the Options Program.

❤️🩶 We’re excited to have Coach Eibel continue supporting and leading our Wildcat student-athletes!

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ THE WAIT IS OVER — RACE SEASON IS HERE! 🐾❤️

We’re excited to share our 2026 Canton South Cross Country season schedule as we officially kick off another season of racing! 🎉

Our first race is THIS SATURDAY at Claymont High School, and we’re bringing the whole crew! 🙌 Our High School, Middle School, and Running Club athletes will all be hitting the course and representing the Wildcats!

Come out and support our athletes as they put all their hard work and summer training to the test! 📣👏 There’s nothing better than seeing familiar faces along the course cheering them on!

🔥 New season. New goals. Same Wildcat pride.

Let’s get this season started! GO WILDCATS! 🐾❤️

📅 First Race: Saturday at Claymont High School

$5 a car entry fee

🎺 That old instrument in the back of your closet could be the beginning of something BIG for a Canton South student. 🎶

The Canton South Band is holding an Instrument Drive, and we’re looking for instruments that are ready for a second life!

And here’s the best part: It doesn’t have to be in perfect condition. Thanks to grant funding specifically awarded for instrument repair and maintenance, we can accept instruments that need a little TLC, too.

We’re especially looking for clarinets, alto saxophones, trombones, French horns, baritones and tubas — but other band instruments are welcome!

📍 Drop-off: Canton South High School Stadium Concession Stand
📅 Saturday, Aug. 29 | 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
📅 Monday, Aug. 31 | 6–8 p.m.

❤️🩶 As a little thank-you, donors can choose two items from the concession stand on us!
