NEW CLASSES FOR ART BY THE MASTERS START SEPTEMBER 14TH!

Mondays from 3:15-4:15 pm and are targeted at children ages 8-11 who are at an intermediate level.

Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 are targeted at children ages 6-10 and who are at a beginner level.

ART CAMP WEDNESDAY, JULY 29TH 9 am-12 pm!!!!

Art camp for your aspiring Rembrandt. Camp is for ages 6-11. We will complete at least 3 projects based on the works of the art masters (depending on time), and make some water color paints to take home. Students will enjoy hearing about the lives of artists while they mimic their techniques and styles.

Wondering what to do with the kids this summer? How about letting them blow off some creative steam with art classes? Art by the Masters offers weekly classes, as well as 1 day art camps. Have plans this summer and not sure if you can commit to a month of classes? Buy one of my bundle cards and use them at your own convenience. Weekly one-hour classes are Mondays from 4-5 and Tuesdays from 4-5. Bundle cards are $60 for 5 classes (a $62.50 value). Use the card for any class you like. Just rsvp for class 24 hours in advance. I am starting a new Art by the Masters class on Monday, April 6 at 4 pm. This class uses a study of great artists, their works and techniques to inspire children to express themselves through art, create beautiful works of art and learn about art elements and technique. I am so proud of this girl from today's Introduction to the Masters class. She was so focused on her creation and did such a great job catching the vision of abstract art. We studied abstract art and the emotions it can convey. We talked about how color plays into it all. Our project combined the colors of Rothko and the lines and shapes of Kandinsky. Great class!

"Painting with scissors" is what Henri Matisse called his process of creating his bold, colorful works of art. We love his masterpieces in our house. My boys have a copy hanging in their room. Yesterday, in my Art by the Masters class with my youngest group, we had a great time cutting shapes out of paper, pinning them down on our large boards until we got them just right and then we glued them down for the finished product. They loved the process and watching the video below that described this artist's genius. I have a new class starting soon. Pm me for a free trial.
