DON’T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO TRAIN WITH A CHAMPION: “Striking Skills and Drills” Seminar with James ”the Honey Badger” Murrin!
Are you ready to take your striking game to the next level? Fresh off a spectacular, history-making debut at Bare-Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) at Fenway Park, James absolutely electrified the crowd on August 29, shocking the division with a jaw-dropping 30-second knockout in Round 1 and taking home the coveted K.O. Of The Night Honors! Now, he is coming to Satori Ryu Karate to share some of those championship-caliber skills with you. With a background in Traditional Martial Arts, Mixed Martial Arts, Boxing, and a former Hybrid Fighting Full Contact Karate Champion, James brings an elite, versatile arsenal that will instantly elevate your striking—no matter your current experience level. I’ve known James for years; not only is he an incredible, high-level martial artist, but he is also a great guy who knows how to break down complex techniques into actionable, explosive drills.

In a modern world dominated by screens, online play and peer pressure Satori Ryu Karate maintains the traditional values of children’s health and fitness. Prioritizing physical movement, face to face interaction and real-world problem solving our award-winning program has proven year after year we know how to develop a more than just physical body. Utilizing a health-first holistic model that serves your child's entire well-being. Your child will learn foundational motor skills—balance, spatial awareness, and agility—ensuring they feel confident moving through life. Modern children's health also demands mental resilience, so we integrate social-emotional learning, providing a space where kids can learn conflict resolution, stress management, active communication skills and self-defense. To assist with Nervous System Self-Regulation, we utilize the centuries old methods of Karate exercises which teach mindful movement flow, breath-work and mental focus developing the ability to "shake off" big emotions, enabling kids to move smoothly from high-stress situations back to a calm, focused mindset. All this provides them with the necessary physical competence and emotional regulation tools they need to navigate modern life with confidence. Stop buying them temporary entertainment and invest in their future well-being today !
