Good morning friends! First, WE MISS YOU! All our teachers cannot wait to see you again! Currently, the re-opening date is May 6th, but this may change as state government continues to monitor the situation. Fountain of Grace Academy is currently seeking full-time EEC certified teachers for toddler and preschool classrooms who are passionate about their work which affects the lives of our little ones.

We care for and educate children 4 weeks to 5 years of age.

We work with children daily on language development, math, science,reading, handwriting, history, social science, technology, health, safety, fine motor, gross motor, plus much, much more.

Summary of teachers Position:
- Provide a safe and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children that complies with all EEC policies and procedures.
- Nurture children's accomplishments, and ensures children are kept safe.
- Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate and use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play.
- Attend to children's basic needs by feeding them, dressing them, and changing their diapers (dependent upon age of children).
- Teach basic skills such as color, shapes, numbers and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills.
- Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.
- Read books to entire classes or to small groups.
- Identify children showing signs of emotional, developmental,or health-related problems, and discuss them with supervisors and parents or guardians.
- Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units and projects, and communicate those objectives to children.
- Demonstrate activities to children.
- Organize and label materials, and display students work in a manner appropriate for their ages and perceptual skills.
