🚒🚗 Safe Driving Saves Lives!

Today, our Driver Education students welcomed Assistant Chief Dan Neptun and Firefighter Jake Chenoweth from City of Canton Fire Department - Illinois as guest speakers!

They shared valuable insights from a firefighter’s perspective, discussing situations they encounter on the job and the importance of making safe, responsible decisions behind the wheel.

A big thank you to Assistant Chief Neptun and Firefighter Chenoweth for taking the time to share their experiences and help our students become safer drivers! 👏

🎶🎉 Congratulations to our Canton High School musicians! 🎉🎶

We are proud to recognize these talented Little Giants who have been selected to participate in the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) District IV All-District Band and Chorus! 🎼

These students will perform at Western Illinois University on Saturday, November 7, alongside some of the top student musicians from across ILMEA District 4!

🎓 ATTENTION CHS CLASS OF 2027 SENIORS & FAMILIES! 🎓

Jostens representatives will be back at Canton High School TOMORROW, Thursday, October 15, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. to collect graduation orders!

📌 Important Reminders:

- Seniors should bring their completed graduation order form or Little Giants Pack to school on Thursday.

- Seniors who missed the graduation meeting should stop by the CHS office to pick up their packet.

- Graduation orders can be submitted in person to Jostens representatives or placed online at Jostens.

- Already ordered online? Your senior should still stop by to see the Jostens representatives on Thursday to pick up their senior gear!

🎓 Class of 2027, graduation will be here before you know it! Be sure to take care of your graduation orders and get ready for an exciting senior year!

🏆 Congratulations to Our 2026-2027 D.A.R. & S.A.R. Award Winners! 🏆

Canton High School is proud to announce that Marlee Scott and Luke Nelson have been selected as this year's Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.) and Sons of the American Revolution (S.A.R.) Award recipients!

🌟 Marlee Scott, daughter of Melissa and Nickolas Scott of Canton, has been actively involved in Basketball, Track, Volleyball, Soccer, Key Club, National Honor Society, Youth Leadership Academy, and Student Council. She has also served as the Class of 2027 Vice President, Boys Soccer Manager, and Student Section Leader. Following graduation, Marlee plans to attend a four-year university to major in Biology or Kinesiology.

🌟 Luke Nelson, son of Alicia and Justin Nelson of Canton, has participated in National Honor Society, Football, Baseball, and Basketball. He also serves as the CHS Booster Club Student Liaison. Following graduation, Luke plans to attend a four-year university to major in Education.

👏 What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that Marlee and Luke were nominated by their peers and selected by CHS faculty based on their outstanding scholarship, leadership, and service.

Congratulations, Marlee and Luke! Thank you for being such wonderful representatives of Canton High School and the Little Giant community!
