The Ancient Ones Of Maine

The Ancient Ones Of Maine Pre-1840's Living History Club. We camp in canvas tents as our fore-fathers did. We cook over fires. We do our best to be period correct.

We are a 501 c3 non profit who donates to other non profit living history groups. The Ancient ones, are a family of folks, both young and old, and from all walks of life. At our rendezvous, you will step back in time, to the pre 1840 era. With that said, we DO make allowances for newcomers, prescription glasses,and a few other things. All we ask is that you try to improve each year. So if you are

tired of all the politics and strict thread counters, then WE ARE the club for you! If you have a passion for the outdoors and a love of history, come check out one of our Rendezvous. At this time we do NOT allow four legged friends, of any kind at our events.

Nit Wit here. I was able to pick up Gomer's pipe hawk. Still had to***co remnants in the bowl. I scraped out his last smoke and put them in with his ashes. Does anyone know The hawk maker? IU believe he is from Finland, Kerri?

September 25 + 26 we will have GEEZER shoots at the Ancient Ones Rendezvous site in Canton Maine. Friday is smoothbore only and Saturday is rifle only. We step off around 9:30, 10 -11 shots. $10 yearly membership covers you on insurance and a $10 and up blanket prize. Camping is free, tents or campers welcome. We have water from a hand pump and we claim the best firewood of any rendezvous. We have twin brick ovens for pizza , baked bread or roasting. Come on Thursday and stay until Sunday, no camping fee. The best way in is to go to the corner of Hathaway Hill road and Crash road in Livermore and drive 3 miles to the vous site.
