Alliance dedicated new all turf baseball field on March 29. Congratulations Alliance High School!

Stark County high schools have 3 all turf baseball fields and 3 with artificial turf infield. Soon there will be the first all turf softball field.

STATE meeting for 2023 for Baseball and Softball is Thursday, February 16 and is a joint OHSAA State and CHSUA local meeting. It will be held at STARK STATE COLLEGE, Advance Technology Center at 6 PM. You will receive credit for both a state and local meeting by attending both sessions.

CANTON TOWNSHIP − It would take 162 years to touch all the bases of Stark County's rich high school baseball history.

The Hall of Fame Luncheon Club got to quite a few of them Monday when four Hall of Fame coaches formed the batting order for a program.

All four played ball decades ago for local high schools — Doug Miller for Canton Lincoln, Tim Miller for Canton South, Frank Gamble for Fairless, and Dave Burkett for Sandy Valley — before they wore the skipper's cap.

All OHSAA Baseball clinics for 2023 have been canceled. Low registrations given as the reason. What would make attending more doable. Post your suggestions.
