College Association, Inc. at SUNY Canton has the following open positions available for the fall 2026 semester:
Dining Operations Supervisor - Food Service Supervisors oversee the day-to-day operations within establishments that prepare and serve food and beverages. They ensure that all aspects of the establishment, including staff performance, food preparation, and customer service, adhere to quality and safety standards. Assist with food preparation for dining center, retail, and catering, ensuring quality and quantity. This is a full-time seasonal position based on the academic year and includes a generous benefits package. Hours for this position are Tuesday-Friday 1:00 pm-8:30 pm, Saturday 9:00 am- 8:30 pm. The starting wage for this position is $18.00-$21.00/hour.
Line Cook - The Line Cook ensures quality and proper presentation of food in a timely manner; that food orders are prepared and assembled quickly according to recipes and procedures to avoid waste; and that the line is always stocked, neat, clean, and safe. This is a full-time seasonal position based on the academic year and includes a generous benefits package. Hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm. The starting wage for this position is $17.40 per hour.
There are two open positions for a Line Cook. The other hours we have available are Sunday 1:00 pm-11:00 pm, and Monday-Thursday 4:00 pm- 11:00 pm.
Production Cook - A Production Cook plays a crucial role in preparing large quantities of food. They ensure food quality and safety while maintaining efficiency in fast-paced environments and preparing assigned food items. Wash and clean raw food products. Peel, dice, shred, and slice food products using proper equipment. Hours for this position are Saturday & Sunday 9:00 am-8:30 pm, Monday & Friday 1:00 pm- 8:30 pm. The starting wage for this position is $18.20/hour.
Cook 1- The cook is responsible for preparing and/or directing the preparation of food to be served, complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards and following established food production programs and procedures. The cook is responsible for the appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste, and fraud. This is a full-time seasonal position based on the academic year and includes a generous benefits package. Hours for this position are Tuesday-Friday 1:00 pm- 8:30 pm, Saturday 9:00 am- 8:30 pm. The starting wage for this position is $19.00 per hour.
