The Beginners Inn

The Beginners Inn Childcare & Learning Center is a state licensed family operated facility. Our center has been providing the community with high quality preschool and childcare programs since 1977. In a home like atmosphere your child will feel the warmth and become part of our family. Our school age before & after school programs and summer day camp give parents the luxury of beginning and ending their day with one stop. We also provide care for the children on no school days and breaks. With so many years of experience and a family operated center our parents have piece of mind while their children are enjoying a fun-filled leaning experience in our year round facility. Our Philosophy
Our center strives to encourage each child’s emotional, physical, cognitive, creative and social needs by providing a variety of experiences throughout each day. Our Basic Goals as Educators
1.We believe that each child is a unique individual.
2.Children need to learn what is expected from them by providing a classroom with organization, rules and structure.
3.Giving children responsibilities and setting boundaries throughout each day allows them to explore and develop self-discipline.
4.Providing children with developmentally age appropriate materials will encourage them to build self-esteem.
5.Showing children respect, trust and affection on a daily basis teaches them to be sensitive towards others in the classroom as well as at home.
6.Self-satisfaction can be established by providing new materials and objectives that are age appropriate allowing each child to grow individually.
7.Asking open-ended questions and providing options for children allows them to express themselves, as well as to develop intellectual and social skills.
8.Providing children with love and guidance allows them to build trusting relations with others. When children are surrounded in a loving, caring, safe and culturally sensitive atmosphere they will grow at their own pace with experience to develop into their own unique individual.
