You never know what might be happening in our PreK room. One child was working on a very long train track, another was making jewelry and setting up a shop, while other children were investigating the art cart for materials.

We are having fun participating in the National Association for the Education of Young Children’s 55th annual Week of the Young Child!

So far we have had Music Monday and Tasty Tuesday. On Monday PreK experimented with different instruments and had the opportunity to decorate maracas. PreK also wore music-themed clothing or dressed like a rock star/musician.

Tasty Tuesday found the children creating a different version of ants on a log. They used cream cheese (we are a nut-free center) and chocolate chips (because Mrs. Conner has a grape allergy) with the celery. The children wore food-themed clothing.
