GlenOak High School Band

GlenOak High School Band Includes the GlenOak High School Golden Eagle Marching Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Winds, Jazz I, and Jazz II, and Pep Band Band meets daily.

Students enrolled in Band at GlenOak High School must participate in 2 ensembles for credit. All students perform in the Golden Eagle Marching Band (August-October) and one of two concert bands (Concert Band or Symphonic Winds) from November-June. Concert Band auditions occur in mid-October to determine band placement. Marching Band is scheduled on every students First Semester Schedule with Conce

rt Band/Symphonic Winds scheduled for Second Semester. Additionally, students have the following supplemental ensemble opportunities:
- Jazz Ensemble (Jazz I, II, or III - by audition) Must be a member of the GO Bands
- Pep Band (during basketball season - no credit) Must be a member o the GO Bands
- Pit Orchestra (during musical years - by audition - no credit) Must be a member of the GO Bands or Strings
- Chamber Ensemble (in preparation for OMEA Solo and Ensemble) Must be a member of the GO Bands


Both the Symphonic Winds and Concert Band earn Superior and Excellent Ratings at District and State OMEA Large Group Adjudicated Events yearly.

The GlenOak High School Marching Band, as the 2025 Battle of the Bands winner, will be leading the way at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Grand Parade on Saturday (8/7)!

The Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce will be livestreaming the parade in case you can not make it in person!
