Our toddler rooms are full of excitement as we gear up for a very special day! 🎉
At AAC, we look for every opportunity to create fun, meaningful, WOW moments for our students. A guest speaker that ties into a unit we’re learning about? Absolutely. Librarians visiting to share an engaging story? Of course. Music class where children explore sound and rhythm starting in infancy? Yes, please. And a surprise visit from Santa Claus just days before the holiday? 100% YES.
This is what sets us apart—being intentional about giving your child something exciting to look forward to, something that lights them up and sparks those after-school conversations. Take a tour of our facility and check out our calendar full of special moments and experiences… you won’t want to miss what’s happening here! ✨

Today we worked on our big muscles by tossing snowballs into the basket. Gross motor play helps build strength, coordination, and body awareness, all while giving the kids a chance to move their bodies and burn some energy. We also loved tying this activity to the winter weather outside, helping the children connect what they’re doing indoors to the world around them. Lots of movement, learning, and fun all in one activity.

We really got into the holiday spirit today at AAC! 🎄✨
Our Preschool & Pre-K students kicked off the morning with a joyful Christmas program, followed by family cookie decorating and sweet treats in the atrium 🍪. Santa Claus even made a special visit to spend time with our Infant and Toddler rooms 🎅! To end the celebration, every child received a special gift thanks to generous community donations 💝.
At AAC, moments like these are more than celebrations—they’re part of how we build meaningful connections, lasting memories, and a true sense of community for our families ❤️.
✨ Looking for a childcare center where your child is known, celebrated, and surrounded by holiday magic all year long?

Some of our favorite moments happen in cozy corners with a good book! Snuggled up together, our little learners are exploring new stories, building language skills, and enjoying the simple joy of reading. This is what every day at our center looks like — curiosity, connection, and a whole lot of smiles.

Our classrooms have been busy spreading Christmas cheer by decorating their doors—with lots of help from the children! Each door reflects creativity, teamwork, and holiday spirit, and we’d love your help choosing a favorite.

All Around Children Families,
I just want to take a moment to share how grateful I am for all of you! Watching your children explore, learn, and grow every day is truly the best part of my job. From toddlers practicing new words, to preschoolers tackling new challenges, and infants discovering the world around them — every day is full of little victories and big smiles.
Take a few minutes today to ask your child about their day — what made them laugh, what they learned, or what sparked their curiosity. These small conversations help connect what we do at school to home, and strengthen those special bonds.
Thank you for trusting us with your little ones and for being part of our All Around Children family. We’re excited for all the fun and learning still to come!

Monday Parent Tip: Make Reading a Daily Adventure!
Reading with your child is one of the best ways to build language, imagination, and a love of learning — and it doesn’t have to be complicated. For children birth to 5, try these simple ways to make reading fun and engaging:
Read together every day: Even just 5–10 minutes counts! Babies and toddlers learn from hearing your voice and seeing the pictures.
Let your child choose: Give them the power to pick a book — it helps build excitement and independence.
Talk about the story: Ask simple questions like “What do you see here?” or “What do you think happens next?” to boost comprehension.
Make it interactive: Use voices, point to pictures, or act out parts of the story — children love movement and expression.
Connect books to life: Relate the story to something in their day, like a trip to the park or a favorite toy, to make reading relevant and meaningful.
Reading isn’t just a quiet activity — it’s a chance to explore, imagine, and bond. Make it playful, make it interactive, and watch your little one fall in love with books!

Step inside our classrooms and you’ll notice something extra special — our Parent Boards! These little hubs are bursting with ways for families to dive into everything their child is learning and experiencing with us.
On the boards, you’ll find weekly lesson plans so you can peek into your child’s daily adventures, a monthly snapshot that highlights the big ideas and themes for the month (and gives you ways to participate at home!), a daily schedule so you know exactly what a day in the life of your little learner looks like, and curriculum highlight photos — a favorite for kids, who beam with pride when they see themselves featured!
It’s more than just a board; it’s a window into your child’s world, filled with smiles, discoveries, and moments of pure joy. Stop by today and see how we bring learning to life — your child’s next big adventure is waiting!

We started at All Around Children - Canton in January of 2025 and have been very happy with the level of care for our two children. The center is very welcoming and staff helped both my kids transition to a new daycare after moving to OH from PA. The center is very communicative within its app and teachers are very responsive.

getting messy, curious, and hands-on. Our toddlers got to explore what’s on their plate by playing with real green beans and cranberries — and they had the best time feeling, squishing, sorting, and discovering all the different textures.
Using real foods for sensory play might look simple, but it’s such a great way for little ones to learn. It helps them get comfortable with new textures, builds confidence around trying new things, and gives them a chance to practice those tiny motor skills as they pick up, pull apart, and move the foods around. Plus, it helps them make real connections between what they’re playing with and what they actually see at mealtimes.
Our toddler room was full of smiles today — lots of focused little faces, lots of “oohs” and “wows,” and of course, a good bit of delightful toddler mess.
