Vicki is an Artist, Teacher, and Homeschooling Mom of 3 little ones. She loves having the opportunity to learn along side her kids and reading countless stories with them! Some of her other hobbies include yoga, roller skating, and gardening. She also has a life long passion for creating and inspiring creativity and connection through art!

She is a licensed Art teacher K-12 and after about 10 years of collecting different Art teaching experiences in each age group from K to adult, she began offering art clubs, classes, and workshops through her own small business, Vicki’s Art Shop! As an artist, her favorite materials to work with include, stained glass, fused glass jewelry, ceramics, mixed media painting and collage!

She is so excited to be joining Symbiosis Academy this year and for the opportunity to become part of our amazing community!

I am a recent graduate from Brandeis University with a degree in mathematics. I am so excited to join the team at Symbiosis and to get the chance to expand the way our students think about mathematics. Outside of math, I work in technical theater, currently serving as production manager at Gann Academy in Waltham. I bring my experience creative problem solving in theater to the math classroom.

We are so thrilled and happy and grateful to welcome our new K-3 teacher, Angela Leahy!

She brings over 10 years of elementary teaching experience and holds a Master's degree in Special Education. Angela is passionate about creating a classroom where every child feels safe, understood, and empowered to learn in a way that celebrates their unique strengths.

As both an educator and a mom to two wonderful boys, Angela understands the importance of building strong relationships with students and families. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, going to the beach, taking long walks, listening to podcasts, and making memories with her boys. She is excited to get to know each student and family and looks forward to a wonderful year of learning, growth, and connection at Symbiosis Academy.
