The Green House

The Green House The Green House seeks to foster and encourage a low-impact, local lifestyle on the St. Lawrence University campus and beyond.

Here at the Green House we, a group of 11 students, work to get the St. Lawrence community excited about low-impact, local living. We hold frequent workshops, dinners and social events, have close ties with local farmers and artisans, and also put on the North Country Folk Festival in the spring time. We hope to make living in a less environmentally-harmful manner fun, interesting and educational for ourselves, our fellow SLU students, and the greater North Country community.

Thank you Kate, Maura and Maggie for making this greenhouse a greenhome🏡 and for your leadership, dedication and commitment to our mission of low impact living, regenerative agriculture, community engagement and of course good food💚🍽️

May your kitchens always be crowded and your gardens always green! We can’t wait to see what each of you do as you go off into the world 🌏

What a day!!! Thank you to everyone who showed out on Friday for the 14th Annual Folkfest💚 we had a blast putting this event on for yall and seeing the community come together for such a beautiful mix of music, food and artistry!

Thank you to all of the artist who performed, we were so lucky to have you! And many thanks to Big Spoon for providing DELICIOUS food💜😛🧡and to all of our local and student vendors and farms ⭐️🍎
