Plain Local Schools Foundation and Alumni Association We build & maintain community trust & provide funding for superior, innovative, educational programs.

In 2011 the Plain Local Schools Foundation merged with the Plain Local Schools Alumni Association to provide more opportunities for alumni and the general community to connect with, and support, all 6,000 students of Plain Local. In the last six years, the Foundation has awarded over $100,000 in grants for programming that support the District in their philosophy of educating the whole child around the areas of Character, Wellness, 21st Century Skills, Content Standards and the Arts. Along with the grants, the Foundation awards scholarships to graduating GlenOak High School seniors each year and supports the Plain Local School District through a variety of endowment funds to help achieve their mission of providing a personalized, relevant education to all students of Plain Local. The Plain Local Schools Foundation raises funds in order to provide programming and support that inspires the hearts and minds of the children of Plain Local. With your help, we can continue this mission and help create exceptional learning experiences for all students of Plain Local.

25 years later, and they’re back for another night of making memories! 💚💛

We’re excited to have our lounge reserved tonight for a 25-year class reunion!

And here’s a fun thought… there’s a good chance many of these same friends spent a few nights together right here back when this was the iconic Fox & Hound.

Same location, a whole new experience, and 25 years of stories to catch up on.

Thanks for choosing Putt Street Social to celebrate!

I am a 2009 graduate of GlenOak and a current staff member in Plain Local Schools. I am also a parent to 3 children in the district; elementary, middle, and high school.

My favorite aspect of Plain Local Schools is the opportunities it offers our children at a young age. I love how the district involves older students to showcase the opportunities available in the future to our little Eagles. Without the highschool Strings members visiting and showcasing their talents, I don't know if my child would be on their 3rd year playing the violin.

Plain Local students have a chance to find what they love or what they're interested in whether it be through academics, arts, or athletics. My 2 older children are into the arts and it's so heart warming to see their dedicated teachers take time out of their evenings or weekends to come support their students.

Plain Local is a community that comes together to help and support our students, they did when I was in school and it continues on today.
