Meet Sarah Kutz, Intervention Specialist at Little Eagles Preschool!

Sarah is a graduate of Ashland University and previously worked within Plain Local through the Stark County ESC. As a Plain Local alum, she’s excited to officially join the district and begin this new chapter with the Golden Eagle family.

Outside of school, Sarah enjoys reading, trying new coffee shops, and spending time with family. She spent part of her summer in Connecticut working at Camp Harkness, where she helps run a camp for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This summer was extra special as she also bought her first house!

Meet Callie Williams, Title I Tutor at Warstler Elementary!

Callie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University and brings experience as both a substitute teacher and Title I Tutor. She’s excited to meet students and families and share her passion for literacy with the Plain Local community.

Outside of school, Callie enjoys spending time with her three boys at sports camps and exploring local parks, pools, and libraries. Fun fact: her favorite song is “Stay” by Lisa Loeb!

Meet one of our “New People in Plain,” Megan Korosy!

Megan Korosy joined the Barr Elementary team as a fourth-grade language arts teacher! She is a graduate of the University of Mount Union and previously served as a Title I Tutor for one year.

When she’s not in the classroom, Megan enjoys laying by the pool and spending time with friends and family.

Meet Lisa Davis, Title I Tutor at Oakwood Middle School!

Lisa is a graduate of The University of Akron and previously worked with Akron Public Schools. She’s excited to get to know the students and staff at Oakwood and is looking forward to being part of the Plain Local community.

Outside of school, Lisa enjoys spending time with friends and being outdoors. She also has a love for singing and has performed on both a Caribbean cruise ship and a New York ferry!

Meet one of our “New People in Plain,” Dennis Giotta!

Dennis Giotta joined the GlenOak High School team as our Music Production Career Tech Teacher! He brings 15 years of teaching experience, having previously worked at Southeastern Local Schools and Waynedale Local Schools.

Dennis earned his undergraduate degree from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati and his master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at Case Western Reserve University.

Fun fact: Dennis loves to travel and is a proud dad to Margaret, a 6-year-old Middlebranch Elementary student, and Arthur, who will join the Plain Local family in a few years!

Dennis is looking forward to working with a great staff and being part of a dynamic music program with so many great opportunities for students.

Meet Kaleigh Ramser, Supplemental Literacy Teacher at Warstler Elementary!

Kaleigh earned her degree from Kent State University and previously worked as a substitute teacher. She’s excited to be part of the Plain Local family again and looks forward to building strong connections with students, staff, and parents while helping create a positive environment where all students can grow and thrive.

Meet Jennifer Wymer, Cafeteria Worker at GlenOak High School!

Jennifer has spent the past 16 years as a stay-at-home mom and is excited to rejoin the workforce at Plain Local while working in the same building as her daughter. She’s especially looking forward to seeing students she remembers from volunteering at Warstler Elementary years ago.

Jennifer loves spending time with her family and is a huge Disney World fan! This summer, her family even squeezed in a Disney vacation while moving into their new home in Plain Township. Jennifer is also a proud mom of two daughters and a grandma!

Meet Alycia Harper, a new Bus Driver for the Transportation Department.

Alycia brings previous experience as a bus driver at Jackson Local Schools. She’s excited to meet new people and students throughout the Plain Local community.

Alycia enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible and loves being an aunt to her 11 nieces and nephews!

Meet one of our “New People in Plain,” Sabrina Wolf!

Sabrina Wolf has joined the Warstler and Taft Elementary teams as a Music Teacher!

Sabrina earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Akron and brings a wide range of music education experience to Plain Local. She student-taught choir at Highland Middle School and music at Hinckley Elementary, and has served as a long-term substitute for band, orchestra, and music programs in Highland and Twinsburg schools.

Fun fact: Sabrina loves roller skating, cats, music, and trivia...and she was recently a contestant on a trivia show!

Sabrina is no stranger to Plain Local! Before attending North Canton City Schools, she attended Kindergarten right here in Plain!

Meet Lindsay Reese, Office Clerk at Middlebranch Elementary!

Lindsay brings 15 years of nonprofit experience. She’s excited to get to know the Plain Local community members better and work in the same district her children attend.

Outside of school, Lindsay enjoys cheering on her kids at baseball games and volleyball clinics, relaxing by the pool with family and friends, and has even attended at least eight Jimmy Buffett concerts!

We’re so glad to have Lindsay as part of the Plain Local Schools family. Go Eagles! 💚🦅
