Hickory Flat United Methodist Preschool and Kindergarten

The T/Th/F Farmyard Friends 2's class had a great month learning about Dr. Seuss, the zoo, and transportation. We loved playing with playdoh, kinetic sand, making fun crafts, and being silly with our friends!

We will be closed today, 3/16/25, per our school policy.

CCSD has delayed their start time by two hours. When this happens, we are closed for the day. Stay safe!

It's Raffle Basket time! Here are the amazing baskets we will be giving away Friday, March 20th (drawing will be at 10:00 am; winners do not need to be present).

Tickets are $1 each and can be purchased during school hours (9-12) Monday through Thursday.

We had a fun week at school. Migjty Molar came to visit and teach us how to care for our teeth, we celebrated Valentine’s Day, and our teachers were treated to a special day with a Hot Chocolate and Breakfast bar. 💕❤️🥰

We love going to Chapel each week and learning about all of the wonderful stories in the Bible.

The Cherokee County School District has canceled school Monday, January 26, due to inclement weather. As a reminder, we follow their calendar so when Cherokee County Schools are closed HFUMC Preschool & Kindergarten will also be closed. Be safe and stay warm.

The M/W Farmyard Friends 2’s class has loved learning about snow and snowmen this month! We love making crafts, exploring our sensory bin, and playing with our friends!

Registration for the 2026-2027 academic year is open. We have limited availability in our two-day twos, two-day threes, and pre-kindergarten classes. The link to our online registration portal can be accessed on our website.

Mickey’s Little Friends, our 3-day 3s class, has had a wonderful year exploring and growing throughout the school year. This sweet class has become the best of friends and loves to conquer the day together! From fun sensory play to cutting and gluing, they love all the things throughout their day.

Registration for 2026-2027 opens for currently enrolled families on January 16th.

Public registration opens January 23rd.
