Another incredible day of the Food Drive! Our Avery families are some of the most generous families out there! Here are the leaders through Day 3. There was some movement on the leaderboard today! Did your class get overtaken? There’s still time to win that ice cream party! Bring in food tomorrow or Friday or donate financially and let PTA shop for you! Our annual Avery Food Drive kicks off on Monday! All next week, send in canned foods to stock the Avery food pantry! Shop on your own using the list below, shop our Walmart wishlist or even make a cash donation and let PTA shop for you! All food and money donated earns points for your student’s class and the top class in each grade wins a BRAIN FREEZE - Ice Cream Sunday Brain Break!
We also need a few volunteers each day to help collect, sort and stock all of the food we receive.

Your PTA donations at work!
Today has been a big day at Avery! Last year your PTA donations purchased a new marquee and 5 new benches for the playgrounds! Today the marquee is starting to get replaced and the benches were built and taken to the playground! Thank you so much for investing in Avery with your time and your finances! We can’t wait to continue to make Avery amazing this year!

Join us for our first PTA General Meeting of the 2026-2027 school year! All are welcome to attend this meeting, even if you haven't signed up to be a PTA member this year yet! You can bring $10 to join or join online with the link below! We will be discussing fundraising for this year, upcoming events and volunteer opportunities, answering questions you may have about PTA and what we do for Avery and more! We hope you'll come, meet the board, find out more about PTA and partner with us to continue to make Avery amazing! We will also be doing a drawing tomorrow night available to all PTA members who attend! One winner will receive an Avery Cubs 30 oz RTIC tumbler!
