Our high school robotics team, FRC Team 4405 – The Atoms Family, had an exciting weekend competing at the Goonettes Invitational at Woodhaven High School!
One of the highlights of the event was seeing our all-girl drive team take the field and represent Team 4405 with confidence, teamwork, and determination. Goonettes gives female students the opportunity to step into key competition roles, gain valuable drive-team and pit experience, and continue developing their leadership, technical, and problem-solving skills.
The event was also a great learning experience for our newer team members. Students experienced the fast-paced environment of an FRC competition, worked alongside experienced teammates and mentors, and saw firsthand how many different skills come together to build, program, operate, and support a competition robot.
