I worked this week at making a dst embroidery file from a picture thru AI for several hours. Giving changes, commands, suggestions to get it right. I can tell you, AI is not quite there for digitizing even a pretty simple school letter design. I had read it can handle a simple design. It went from a blank file, telling me, ooops my mistake this is what I meant to give you….which was a weird response - to something that resembled a letter, just not with the proper outlines, to a squiggly line across the screen and me telling AI that was a hot mess. 😆
