Our Pre-Primary students were excited to participate in a Bike-a-Thon to raise money for the Canton Ex-Newsboys Association! Students rode bikes, trikes, and scooters while learning about helping others in our community, bike safety, and exercising. We are proud to support an organization that provides shoes, coats, and clothing to children in need throughout Stark County.

Summer Camp is officially underway at Canton Montessori School! ☀️

Our toddlers are already hard at work, exploring, learning, and having fun together in our temporary location. We are so proud of how beautifully our students and staff have adjusted, bringing the same CMS joy, curiosity, and Montessori spirit into this space.

This week, Dr. Peter Schneller, professor at the University of Mount Union, led our faculty and staff in a meaningful professional development session focused on childhood trauma and practical strategies for supporting children in the classroom.

We are grateful for the opportunity to continue learning together so we can better understand and respond to the needs of our students with compassion, consistency, and care.

What a wonderful way to wrap up the school year! 🎉 Our last day of school was complete with a pizza party, popsicles, and lots of smiles. For the first time in recent CMS history, students from Toddlers through Middle School came together to celebrate the end of the year.

We are so proud of our students and grateful for this joyful CMS community! 🍕❤️

It's been a GREAT week back at CMS! 💙

After an unexpected two weeks following a small fire at our 15th Street Campus, it was wonderful to hear children learning, laughing, and reconnecting. We are grateful to be able to set up at our Blackburn Campus to include our Toddler and Pre-Primary students. Different space, same CMS heart.

Thank you to our students, families, Directresses, and Assistants for your resilience, flexibility, and support. It felt so good to be back together!
