Today, our Essentials students dove deeper into the digestive system through an engaging activity rotation. They played vocabulary games, modeled organs with clay, and experienced the digestive process using virtual and augmented reality. It was another fantastic day of hands-on learning and discovery!

Today, our Essentials of Healthcare students explored the fascinating journey of digestion in a hands-on lab experience! They witnessed what happens to food as it passes through the digestive tract—physically and chemically breaking it down, mixing it with stomach acid, absorbing nutrients in the small intestines, extracting water in the large intestines, and even simulating defecation. While some found the process a bit gross, the smiles, collaboration, and engaging conversations made it an unforgettable day of learning!
