From September 14–17, VZMAC students get to bring a friend to class and take on our special Hero Missions together!

But our students have an even bigger job — they get to become their buddy’s Hero Guide, helping them learn, encouraging them, and showing them what VZMAC is all about!

Here are 3 reasons we love having training equipment at home:
It keeps what they learned fresh.

A few extra repetitions of a kick, combination, or technique can help students remember the details and walk into their next class feeling more confident.

It only takes 5 minutes.

Five focused minutes on a shield, paddle, or blocker can be more valuable than a long practice session they don’t enjoy. Keep it short. Keep it fun. Keep them improving.

The whole family can get involved.

Mom, Dad, brothers, and sisters can hold targets, call out combinations, and encourage them along the way. Suddenly, practice becomes family time too.

🎒🔥 WHAT A WEEKEND! 🔥🎒

We are still smiling after our VZMAC Back-to-School Bash this weekend! What an awesome way to wrap up summer and get ready to kick off a brand-new school year! 🥋🙌

The dojo was packed with energy, laughter, games, and so many VZMAC families making memories together. We had an absolute BLAST! ❤️

A HUGE THANK YOU to all of our incredible volunteers who helped make Saturday such a success! You gave your time and energy to help everything run smoothly, and we truly couldn’t have done it without you!

To all of our VZMAC kids heading back to school, we hope you have an AMAZING school year! 📚✏️ Work hard, be kind, stay confident, and remember everywhere you go…

🔥 LEADERS ARE RISING AT VZMAC! 🔥

Our first Leadership League Training of the Fall Quarter was AWESOME! These students showed up ready to learn, grow, and take another step toward becoming confident leaders both inside and outside the dojo. 🥋💪

This quarter, we’re working on what it really means to lead and teach others well. Our students practiced how to create a safe training environment, communicate clear expectations, and teach with confidence, patience, and encouragement.

We also put those skills into action as they worked hard learning how to judge a sparring match—making decisions, communicating clearly, staying focused, and leading with confidence! 👊🔥

In John C. Maxwell’s High Road Leadership, we learned:

“Leadership rises when leaders possess good leadership skills and good values.”

And that’s exactly what we’re watching happen.

These students aren’t just learning how to lead…

Last night, we officially kicked things off with our Demo Team Training Program Preview, and WOW—we are excited about what’s ahead! 🥋💥

Our students got a taste of what it means to train as a team, sharpen their skills, bring the ENERGY, and prepare to perform at a whole new level.

And we’re training toward something BIG… 👀
