✨
Let's talk nail days! When you get a manicure or pedicure, they use all kinds of lotions, oils, scrubs, drying chemicals, etc. These can ruin a fresh spray tan, or prevent a spray tan from developing properly if done only a few hours before your spray tan appt.
We always recommend getting your manicures and pedicures 24-48 hours BEFORE your spray tan appt. This allows your skin to "calm down" and revert back to it's natural pH level. We also start every spray tan appointment with a prep spray that helps remove any lotion, oil or soap residue that may still be on your body after that 24 hour period as well. It's just not as effective at removing same day lotions, oils and soaps, ufortunately. Those tend to "break down" naturally on your body, and when applied the same day as your spray tan appointment, they aren't as easy to remove which can cause the dreaded streaks😳
So always, always ALWAYS, get those nails and toes done in advance so ✨ goes on flawless and develops perfect👌🏻
