The Lil' Pantry is extremely low on canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, and spaghetti noodles! And Spring Break week has wiped out the majority of our snacks, so those would be helpful, too! Thanks for your support! I posted this video a few months ago, but I want to post it again. This morning someone jammed the pantry full of canned goods and foods that expired nearly TWENTY years ago...2006, 2007, 2008. Folks, I beg you. Please do not donate expired items.

When I was a little girl, we always had crackers with soup. I still love to crumble saltine crackers into my tomato soup! One of the items we try to have in the Lil' Pantry at all times is a sleeve of crackers. Think of all the ways people can use them! Soup and crackers, tuna and crackers, peanut butter and jelly on crackers, etc. If you can donate crackers, it is always helpful! Thanks for all the support!

OK, let's talk about the coming storm. I don't know how easy it will be for folks who need food to get to the Lil' Pantry, but know this: if you make the trek through the snow to get to 11 Sychar, you WILL GET FOOD. If the pantry is low or empty, COME TO THE DOOR. We are fully stocked.

The Lil' Pantry has a few needs if anyone is looking for a way to help: peanut butter, jelly, fruit cups, and flavored oatmeal (the packets) would be a huge help! The number of children using the pantry has doubled in recent weeks, so ANY kid-friendly items would be awesome!

This morning, when I went out to fill the Lil' Pantry, the doors had bullet holes in them. We reviewed the footage, and it showed that two juveniles visited the pantry for 6 minutes at 1:48 AM, during which they were shooting at the pantry. And this is a picture of them shooting at a car that was driving by. I am not sharing the full video because they have already been apprehended by the police.
Folks, please be aware that everything you and your kids do at the pantry is under 24-hour surveillance, and the footage is ALWAYS shared with the police. Littering, vandalism, mocking by teenage girls...all of it.
And now, we have the expense of rebuilding the front doors of the pantry. Thanks so much!
