Hello Youtz Families,
Welcome to the 2026/27 school year! We are so excited for this year and hope that you all had a fun and safe summer. This year we will have Kindergarten through 6th graders in our building. Our school day is still 9:00 am-3:50 pm. Students are marked tardy after 9:15 am. Here are some important dates to mark down.
Thursday, August 13th 4:00-6:00 Open House at Youtz for K-6
Thursday, August 20th First Day for 1st grade -6th grade at Youtz
Tuesday, August 25th First Full Day for Kindergarten at Youtz
Our Kindergarten students will attend Pup Camp at Youtz. You will get a ParentSquare message that will ask you which day you would like your child to attend. The choices are either August 20th or August 21st from 10:00-3:00. Please respond to the message with the date you would prefer. During this time, your child will meet our staff and experience a Kindergarten classroom with only a small number of friends present. Lunch will be a part of this exciting day. Students can either receive a free hot lunch or bring a packed lunch from home. There will be an informational Family Meeting at 2:30, where you will get to learn about your child's new and exciting journey this year.
Open House on August 13th and is going to be full of fun this year! It is from 4:00-6:00. Please plan to attend and meet your teachers and the staff and tour the building. We will have food, school supplies, hair cuts, and manicures. There will be a bouncy house, face painters and an obstacle course with the chance to tour a fire truck. Our community sponsors will be here too! We would like to thank them ahead of time for their support in making heading back to school fun.
