✨New Patreon video: 4 Summertime Beverages ✨
Hello friends, it’s been a little while since we’ve posted. Summer has scattered us around, having us tend to many things as you can imagine. How are you doing this season?
Where we are it is HOT! In the sweltering days of New England summers we frequently turn to cooling herbs to help turn down the fiery-ness and heat. In our latest Patreon offering Steph goes over four of her favorite beverage recipes that are simple to make and very refreshing for when you feel a bit wilted. You can check out the recipes on our Patreon page, linked in our bio.
Enjoy and wherever you may be, we hope you are keeping cool and hydrated! 🫙🫐🌿 💧

🌿 CONNECTING WITH THE LIVING LAND: ENROLLMENT IS NOW OPEN! 🌿
Join us for a 7 month program on the Muddy River Herbals farm in Canton, MA
~ begins April 27, 2024 ~
join us for a journey of:
🌱community + kinship
🌱herbalism + gardening
🌱body + spirit
🌱service + healing
Our gatherings, which take place once a month from April through October, will each feature medicine making, plant profiles, earth connection practices, and holistic gardening techniques. Each class will revolve around a specific theme that corresponds to the plant guardians who will serve as guides in that month’s work. Our time in the garden will be centered on ecologically sound methods, with a special emphasis on ancestral techniques (often referred to as permaculture), and the importance of plants that sustain not only ourselves but the birds, pollinators, and other creatures with whom we share our neighborhoods.

Earth offerings are a beautiful way to share gratitude and love for the generous gifts of the natural world. At the beginning of our course at the farm we create a group offering — a biodegradable bundle filled with meaningful offerings from each of our students. We then bury this bundle during our land acknowledgment ceremony, along with words of gratitude for the Massa-adchu-es-et (Massachusett) tribe, the original stewards of the land we gather upon. We give this bundle to the land — and to the spirits of the land — as one small but heartfelt step in the process of restoration, repair and healing that our world, communities and ecosystems so desperately need.
