SHOP NIGHT LIVE TONIGHT! - The French curve cabinet scraper can be so helpful to quickly clean up coves of all shapes and sizes. Sharpening a standard cabinet scraper can be difficult enough but the French curve style brings its own challenges. Tonight I show you the simple step by step approach for sharpening this unusually shaped and effective tool. And we will have a live studio audience in the shop to add to the fun. SHOP NIGHT LIVE TONIGHT! - Router secrets for cutting mind-bending Bridle Joints - I enjoy the challenge of laying out complex joinery and cutting by hand. But sometimes a power tool like the router can expand your efficiency and accuracy, especially when tackling complicated joinery…like cutting a bridle joint into a curved rail. Tonight I’ll show you a surprisingly simple technique for “un-bending your mind” and using a router in new and creative ways. We’ll cut and fit a bridle joint into a curved rail in no time flat with no sweat…but maybe a little mind-bending. Hope you can join me in the shop!
