Last month, Range Resources welcomed TRDD for a tour of two active drilling sites. During the visit, we gained valuable insights into both top hole and horizontal drilling rig operations.

One of the highlights was climbing the stairs to the rig floor, where we got a firsthand look inside the "doghouse". For several attendees, this was a milestone moment. Despite years in the industry, it was their first opportunity to observe these operations up close and in action.

A big thank you to Range Resources Corporation and their Drilling department for making this incredible experience possible!

Today, some of our members had the opportunity to tour the Vallourec Star production facility in Youngstown, Ohio.

Vallourec specializes in hot rolled seamless steel tubes, expandable tubular technology, automotive parts, and stainless steel, which it provides to energy, construction, automotive, and mechanical industries.

The pipe they manufacture is made completely out of scrap metal! The tour was incredibly informative and covered the manufacturing process from start to finish.

Today we traveled east to Kilgore, Texas to visit the East Texas Oil Museum. We learned about what life was like back when the East Texas oilfield was discovered and how it completely changed life for the residents of this town, not to mention how it changed the industry.
