Mascots Take on the Board Breaking Challenge! 💥🥋

What happens when some of our community’s most recognizable mascots take on a martial arts board breaking challenge? They absolutely crush it! 💥

Our teams from McMurray’s Best After School Program & Summer Camp, ATA McMurray Martial Arts, and ATA Imperial Martial Arts are having an incredible time at North Strabane Township Community Day!

Today was a milestone 6 years in the making, I earned my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Purple Belt at Steel City Martial Arts! 🥋💜

The testing included technique demonstrations, live rolling, & putting everything I have learned into action. It was challenging, rewarding, & an experience I will always remember.

I am deeply grateful to Professor Santino Achille & all of the instructors at SCMA for their instruction, guidance, encouragement, & support throughout my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey. 🙏

After 30 years in ATA Martial Arts, having the opportunity to challenge myself & grow in another discipline has been tremendously fulfilling. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has allowed me to learn from a different perspective, step outside my comfort zone, & continue expanding my skills & understanding as a martial artist.

Earning my Purple Belt means a great deal to me, but I also know there is still so much more to learn. That is one of the greatest things about martial arts, no matter how long you have trained or what rank you have earned, there is always another opportunity to grow.

Thank you to my family & everyone in my SCMA & ATA families for the encouragement & support throughout this journey. I could not be prouder to have reached this milestone, & I am excited to continue the journey toward Black Belt!

🌎🏆 WORLD CHAMPION - LUCA DILEGGE! 🏆🌎

We are incredibly proud to announce that 9 year old, 2nd Degree Black Belt Luca DiLegge is the 2026 ATA World Champion in Creative Weapons!

After capturing an incredible three World Championship titles in 2024, Luca returned to the ATA World Championships in Phoenix, AZ and earned his fourth World title! 🔥

This accomplishment reflects countless hours of training, determination, courage, & hard work. Luca continues to amaze us with his talent & dedication, & we could not be prouder to have him represent ATA McMurray Martial Arts on the world stage!

Wednesday, I had the incredible honor of being promoted to Senior Master. 🥋

Standing on the stage at the ATA World Championships in Phoenix was both humbling & inspiring. After 30 years of training, earning the title of Senior Master is one of the greatest honors of my life.

This achievement is not mine alone.

To my wife, thank you for your unwavering love, encouragement, & support. Thank you to my parents & family for introducing me to martial arts, believing in me, & supporting me throughout this journey. ❤️ I am also deeply grateful to my instructors, mentors, staff, students, & the entire ATA family for the role each of you has played in helping me reach this moment. 🙏🏻

I do not see this title as a finish line. I see it as a greater responsibility, to lead with humility, continue learning, develop future leaders, & to keep changing lives through martial arts.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated this milestone with me & reached out with kind words. Your support means more than you know!

I am honored to begin this next chapter as Senior Master Cameron Stadtfeld.

Today is the final day of the Senior Master training process at the 2026 ATA World Championships in Phoenix, Arizona.

We're finishing the final workouts, completing the last requirements, receiving our Senior Master silks, & preparing for tomorrow's official Mastership Ceremony.

It's humbling to think that this journey began 30 years ago as a 6 year old white belt. Every class, every tournament, every challenge, every success, & every setback has helped shape the person & instructor I am today.

No matter your rank or experience, there is always something new to learn & another opportunity to grow. That's one of the greatest lessons martial arts has taught me.

I'm incredibly grateful to my family, instructors, students, staff, & everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. Your encouragement has meant more than you know.

Now it's time to finish strong.

🏆 ATA McMurray Named 2026 Northeast District School of the Year

We are incredibly honored to announce that ATA McMurray Martial Arts has been named the 2026 Northeast District School of the Year by ATA International.

The Northeast District includes ATA schools from Maine through Virginia, making this recognition especially meaningful among hundreds of academies across the district.

This award was selected by ATA International using academy wide criteria & data driven results, & we are especially proud to be the first academy chosen for this new recognition.

But more than anything, this is a team win.

This award belongs to our students, families, instructors, staff, & the entire ATA McMurray community. Every student who trains, every parent who supports, every instructor who leads, & every family who believes in what we do helped make this possible.

We are grateful. We are proud. And we are more motivated than ever to continue developing confident, disciplined, and capable leaders through martial arts.

What an incredible day at ATA McMurray Martial Arts!

We were honored to host today’s Regional Judging Clinic & welcome 40 black belts from across our ATA family.

It was a special afternoon of learning, leadership, teamwork, & growth. Seeing so many dedicated martial artists come together to sharpen their knowledge, support one another, & continue raising the standard for our tournaments was truly inspiring.

Events like this remind us that ATA is more than what happens on the mat - it is community, family, & a shared commitment to excellence.

Thank you to everyone who attended & helped make this clinic such a meaningful event. We are grateful to be part of such an amazing region & proud to have hosted this important training! 🙏🏻

Congratulations to our students who earned a place in the World Top Ten standings & qualified for the Tournament of Champions at World Championships!

Being ranked among the best competitors in the World is an incredible accomplishment. It represents countless hours of training, courage under pressure, discipline, sacrifice, & the heart to keep pushing toward something bigger.

We are beyond proud of these students - not only for what they achieved, but for the way they represented our schools, our instructors, their teammates, & their families throughout the tournament season.

To our ATA families: thank you for the travel, the time, the encouragement, the early mornings, the long days, & the constant support. These accomplishments are a reflection of the incredible community we continue to build together.

We cannot wait to cheer them on as they take the stage at World Championships & compete in the Tournament of Champions!
