Do you love the look of the retreat quilt, but border fabrics aren't your jam? Ok, just use a piece of yardage. The one pictured would be perfect for this quilt. And with the one piece of fabric, except for the background, you have all the fabric you need to complete the quilt top. This fabric is currently available at our retreat sponsor; First Stitches - Sewing Store & Quilt Shop
And your fabric doesn't need to be a scene either. Got a geometric you love? Or even a tossed fabric?

Seats are filling for the Rocky Mountain Majesty Retreat, sponsored by First Stitches Quilt Shop. In case you scrolled on by, here are the deets ...

This three day quilt retreat will result in a beautiful, unique quilt top. The class will be taught by pattern designer, Nani Kaai, who is the previous owner of Na-La's Quilt Shoppe and is currently manager at First Stitches.

You will also have access to an exclusive members only, "Rocky Mountain Majesty Retreat" FaceBook page. Here, you may ask questions, make comments, and report your progress.

Kits will be available in 4 color ways for $175 and include all fabrics for the quilt top, including binding (backing is not included). You can also use fabrics from your stash.
Note: The original blue option is sold out. If blue is your fave color, let us know, we have an option for you.

The retreat runs from 9am to 4 pm, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. A selection of pastries will be available each morning. Lunch will be provided all 3 days. Dinner is on your own. On Saturday evening, for a nominal cost of $10, an optional dinner and shopping event will be held at First Stitches.

Please note: All quilters work at a different pace. We cannot guarantee you will complete the quilt in the class. But you will receive instructions for the entire quilt top process.
