Our CCHS Tiger Recycling students are getting BORED. 😱
And you know what happens when teenagers get bored…
So PLEASE… BRING US YOUR ELECTRONICS. 😂🔧💻
Old computers?�Dead printers?�Ancient DVD players?�Mystery electronics that have been sitting in your garage since 2007?�That cord-filled box you refuse to throw away because “someone might need it someday”? 👀
WE WANT IT! 🐯♻️
Our students need electronics to take apart, sort, troubleshoot, and learn from. Your unwanted technology gives them hands-on experience while keeping electronics out of the landfill.

Canon City friends — our CCHS Tiger Recycling Center is looking for a donated pallet jack to support student training and daily operations.

Our students process hundreds of pounds of electronics each week, and a pallet jack would make it safer and more efficient for them to move incoming materials. If your business, warehouse, or shop has a used pallet jack in good working condition, we would be grateful for the donation.

We can provide a donation receipt for your records.
Message us directly or contact the high school office to coordinate.

📢 Community Notice

The Tiger Electronic Recycling Center and Claws Out Shredding will be closed to the public beginning Wednesday, July 29, at 3:00 PM as we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year.

🗓️ We will reopen Monday, August 17, at 8:00 AM.

Thank you to our amazing community for your continued support of our student-led programs. We look forward to serving you again this fall!

🌟 Good Morning, Canon City! 🌟

As a reminder, the CCHS Tiger Electronic Recycling Center accepts most electronic items for recycling, but there are a few items we cannot take.

❌ We CANNOT accept:
• Mini refrigerators
• Large appliances (washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers, etc.)
• Car batteries

✅ We ARE happy to accept:
• Desktop computers and laptops
• Monitors
• Tablets and cell phones
• Printers, copiers, fax machines, and scanners
• Flat-screen TVs and CRT (box-style) TVs
• Coffee makers, microwaves, air fryers, and other small kitchen appliances
• Cords, wires, chargers, and cables
• And many other electronic devices!

By recycling your old electronics, you're helping keep valuable materials out of landfills while supporting hands-on learning opportunities for our students.
