Kids Klub will be CLOSED on Monday, September 7th for Labor Day! We will open for normal business hours on Tuesday, September 8th.

Kids Klub is open at Lincoln School of Science and Technology after school and both before and after school at Washington Elementary. Kids klub is also offered on no school days including holiday breaks!

We offer homework help, snacks, sports, card games and various other activities for students between the age of 5 and 12!

Due to low enrollment and budgetary constraints Kids Klub unfortunately will not be opening Kids Klub at McKinley Elementary at this time. This is not a decision that we have taken lightly. We understand that everyone is feeling the crunch but without an adjustment to the Kids Klub program it will become unsustainable.

However, we are not shutting the door completely, if the need of the program at Mckinley were to grow, we would be more than willing to look at reopening the program. In order to open McKinley, we would need at least 10 families who consistently need the program in order to look at the possibility of reopening.

Hiring for a Kids Klub Site Leader
This is a part-time position of 15 to 30 hours per week, primarily working from 6:45 - 8:00 am and 2:45 - 6 pm during the school year. During the summer up to 40-hours per week is possible.

Duties:
Work with children in a before and after school childcare setting at local elementary schools. Care for children ages 5-12. Ensure the safety of the children, while also having fun. Responsible for snack time, arts and crafts, play time and games. Must love working with children.

Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age. Must have 3 years verifiable experience working with groups of children aged 5 and up totaling 5460 hours. Verifiable experience can be paid or unpaid such as scouts, 4H, sports, childcare etc. A bachelor's degree or 2 years college course plus 910 hours of verifiable experience is also accepted.
Background check and fingerprint check is required. Must be willing to complete mandatory paid training of 40-65 hours, which can be a combination of online and at site. All training fees are paid by the District.

Pay:
Starting at $17.50 per hour, negotiable based on experience

As another amazing summer at Kids Klub comes to a close, our hearts are full of gratitude.

This summer was filled with laughter, learning, adventures, new friendships, unforgettable memories, and so many smiling faces. None of it would have been possible without the incredible people who came together to make it such a success.

To our amazing families—thank you for trusting us with your children each day. Your support, encouragement, and partnership mean the world to us.

To our wonderful guest speakers—thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge, talents, and experiences with our kids. You helped inspire curiosity, creativity, and excitement in ways they'll remember for years to come.

To our dedicated staff—you are the heart of Kids Klub. Your patience, kindness, energy, and commitment created a safe, fun, and welcoming place where every child could learn, grow, and thrive. Thank you for going above and beyond every single day.

And to everyone who supported our program in big and small ways, thank you for believing in what we do. Your generosity and encouragement helped make this summer truly unforgettable.

The bonds built in childcare are so much more than just spending the day together. Every hug, every story, every scraped knee we comfort, every milestone we celebrate, and every smile we earn becomes a part of our hearts.

As childcare providers, we have the privilege of watching little ones grow into confident, curious, and kind individuals. We become a safe place, a familiar face, and often an extension of their family. We laugh with them, learn alongside them, and cheer them on through every new accomplishment.

That's why goodbyes are never easy. Whether a child or staff member is moving on to a new classroom, or simply beginning a new chapter, saying goodbye leaves a space in our hearts. While we know they're growing exactly as they're meant to, it doesn't make letting go any less emotional.

Childcare isn't just a job—it's a calling. And while goodbyes are one of the hardest parts, they are also a reminder of how deeply we care and how meaningful these relationships truly are. ❤️

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow, July 31st is Kids Klub's last day of our summer program! 😢 We had so much fun and are so sad the summer is over! However, our before and after school program is coming!

We will be closed August 3rd- August 11th for those preparations of the school year! We are sorry for any inconvenience this does cause!
