honestly, I’m not sure what words to share right now with you.

I want to share light & hope, and that’s not the reality for most of you. military life is messy and unpredictable and…terrifying sometimes, too.

so I’m going to leave you with these poems, and then say this: log off your social media. put a pause on reading the news. hug your family if you can. enjoy real, human connection with friends & family where you can.

finally, find pockets of joy, because I promise you it’s still there. you are in my mind & on my heart 🤍

we have been so so so blessed to have Chase around for these past few weeks. not looking forward to him going back BUT so grateful for the time we’ve spent together as a family 🤍

deployment has taught me a LOT 👇🏼

- how capable I really am

- the importance of asking for help

- that I need way more sleep than I get lol

- being a problem-solver

- tending to my boys’ hearts

- what’s truly important & how to prioritize things

👉🏼 what has deployment taught you about yourself?

I’m usually really quiet on here during our busiest seasons (looking at you holiday deployments 👀). so much of me wants to pour into you, my community here, but I also want to give my best self to my kids.

this absolutely is NOT a goodbye post at all, just more of a reminder to cherish the good things in life.

pour yourself into what matters most, and go from there.

my shop has been busy (yay!) this past little while, and I’ll share more in my email next week, but a mid-deployment break will be much needed come Christmas. 🤍 (so enjoy my .ly sale rn!! BF2025 for 15% off everything!)

I’m so glad you’re here, and I think about my military friends here constantly. you’ve got this 💪🏼

it’s spooky szn over here…aka deployment szn 🫠🕸️🖤

deployments come with LOTS of feelings. I get it. but feelings don’t need to be scary.

these boo baskets, kins, & books were EXACTLY what we needed to kick off this Halloween season (and honestly through this current deployment) 🤍

doesn’t just help my kids build emotional courage & strength.

they have helped me as a mother, military wife, AND even just as a human with identifying emotions & learning to trust myself

STOP CALLING TRICARE to change your address!!! 🙌🏼

if you haven’t yet learned how to navigate your Tricare info online, I highly recommend doing so!

of course, not everything can be solved online, but changing your address, region, PCM (primary care manager aka doctor), and contact info can ALL be done online through MilConnect 👏🏼

some thoughts on change for your friday 🤍

how do you feel about change? is it something you welcome? or dread?

I could write a whole other book JUST about change. the hesitation, the unknown, the fear.

but also the growth. the immense blessings that have come from being willing to accept change.
