🎉 WHAT’S NEW AT ACES?! 🎉
We’re excited to introduce our NEW ACES Reward System! ⭐️
Every student starts each day with 4 points:
A – Attitude
C – Cooperation
E – Encouragement
S – Safety
The goal? Keep all 4 points every day! Students can save their points and shop from our ACES Chest every Thursday. They can choose to cash in their points for a prize or save them for something BIGGER!
👍 THUMBS UP! 👍
Students also have the opportunity to earn UNLIMITED Thumbs Up throughout the day! These are earned for doing ANYTHING GOOD—being kind, helping a friend, completing homework, picking up trash, helping a staff member, showing leadership, and more!
🎯 TARGET TOSSER! 🎯
The student with the MOST Thumbs Up each day becomes our Target Tosser the following day during snack!
And here’s the fun part…
The Target Tosser gets to spin our ACES Prize Wheel! 🎡
Whatever prize the wheel lands on, EVERY student who was present the previous day, earned at least 1 ACES point AND earned at least 1 Thumbs Up gets that prize! 🙌
Our goal is to recognize positive choices, encourage kindness, celebrate hard work, and make every day at ACES a little more exciting!

Do you enjoy working with kids and making a positive impact in their day? We are looking for caring, dependable individuals to join our ACES After School Program!

We are currently seeking:

⭐ Enrichment Staff — Help with fun, engaging activities and meaningful experiences for students after school.

⭐ ACES Pick-Up Assistant — Help support our afternoon pick-up process by answering phones, assisting families, helping with student check-out, and making sure students have a smooth transition at the end of the day.

If you enjoy working with students, connecting with families, and being part of a team that makes a difference, we’d love to have you join the Bullpup family!

🎉 IT'S BACK! Caney Valley has once again been awarded the 21st Century CLC Grant, providing FREE after-school programming for K–6th grade students through 2031. More information will be shared as we get closer to the start of the school year.

That’s a wrap for a very interesting and uncertain year of our after school program.

We made it through a challenging season, and truly, it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our families. Thank you to every single person who donated, showed up, encouraged, and believed in what we’re building. Your generosity and commitment kept this program going when it mattered most.
And to the families who entrusted us with your kids—thank you. Thank you for sending them each day, for sharing them with us, and for helping keep this program alive.

A special thank you to our amazing staff who adapted to new routines, adjusted on the fly, and showed up day after day with patience and care. Your flexibility and dedication did not go unnoticed, and this program stands because of you.

While the future of our 21st CCLC funds is still uncertain, we will keep you posted as soon as we know more.

This year wasn’t easy, but it was meaningful, and that’s because of you. We’re so grateful for this community. 💫
