Dedication Update: The press box at the Canastota High School sports complex will be dedicated in honor and memory of our classmate Vinny Salamone on Saturday, September 19th at 10:45 am. Please be prompt! There is a field hockey tournament that day and the school has kindly squeezed us in between games (we have 15 minutes). This is a community event so spread the word! Let’s have a great turnout!

IMPORTANT UPDATE: We will be kicking off our 50th class reunion weekend at Theodore's Restaurant (3231 Seneca Turnpike) at 6pm on Friday, September 18th! PLEASE get your reservations in - we really do not want to be handling money at the door! THANK YOU! We all need to spread the word! Not everyone uses Facebook and we don't have everyone's email.

SUCCESS! The Canastota Board of Education unanimously approved our proposal to dedicate the press box to our classmate Vinny Salamone last night! Thank you, Patti and Debbie for your efforts in making this happen! Plans are underway for a ceremony to be held on Saturday, September 19th at the field. The reunion committee has been working with the school district for several months to secure a memorial to be placed on the press box for Vinny. We are happy to report that we're finally in the home stretch! Our proposal is on the school board agenda for August 11th! Our hope is to schedule a dedication ceremony sometime on Saturday, September 19th. Please look for further details by the middle of August.

Update from this group of hard-working ‘76 classmates!

Since there is no home football game on Friday the 18th, we’ll be gathering at Theodore’s on Route 5 in Canastota that evening at 6:00. There will be snacks provided and a cash bar.

Stay tuned for another announcement with details about our Saturday afternoon plans.

We’ve received many responses, don’t forget to send yours in! Looking forward to seeing everyone!
