NEW-Parenting Class- “Discipline is NOT a Dirty Word”
Hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ontario County
Tuesday evenings, October 13-November 10- 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Held at FLCC Child Care Center-Canandaigua, NY

Discipline is NOT a Dirty Word offers five parenting tools to support parents, caregivers and teachers in raising and working with children. These include focusing on “do” instead of “don’t” statements; detecting feelings and needs; giving choices; changing the environment; and setting limits that ensure safety in a loving and firm way. This 4-session class is funded with the support of Ontario County Department of Social Services. Refreshments and prizes provided each class. Pre-registration is required.

Childcare will also be available for young children ages 6 months to age 12 years.
(Must be registered by September 18th for childcare to ensure staffing, if registering after this date we cannot guarantee the service)

We are very excited to be a part of the groundbreaking of the new Culinary Arts Center of Excellence. This will mark the beginning of a great partnership and future collaborations with FLCC, New York Kitchen and CCE Ontario.
