Through a grant from the Canadian Education Foundation Dan Gutman (author of the My Weird School Series and more) will do a virtual visit with 2nd-5th grade classes🎉 In addition, each student will receive a signed copy of a book.

Canadian Education Foundation, you rock! On January 17, 2024, the CEF awarded Baker Elementary School a $15,000 grant. For the Library's portion of the grant, WE GET a VIRTUAL AUTHOR'S VISIT BY DAN GUTMAN, author of many books, including the My Weird School series, the Flashback Four Series and many others. Each student in grades second through fifth will also receive an autograph copy of one of his books! We can't wait to meet Mr. Gutman in April! Please encourage your kids to read one of his books.
