PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL AND SMALL GROUP TUTOR

As schools roll out detailed plans for the upcoming academic year, you may find yourself interested in providing extra support for your child, especially on remote learning days, or when the demands of career and family make having access to a private tutor an option you want to take advantage of.

My path into education started at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education. This led to a positive experience in the suburban public school system, where I taught high school physics, chemistry, earth science, and astronomy for twelve years. As my family needs and professional interests evolved I became a Montessori middle school teacher, spending these past six years leading instruction in math and science. I am now excited to offer families assistance by providing private individual or small group tutoring.

Let’s work together to develop a plan to help meet your family’s goals. We can focus on completing and comprehending coursework provided by your child's school and/or supplementing your child’s education with new experiences.
