Mountain Empire Unified School District
The 2022-23 State Budget includes additional funding for school districts to pay for costs associated with transportation services to MEUSD students. In order to receive the funds, MEUSD is required to adopt a Student Transportation Plan after gathering input from our educational partners.

It is the mission of the Mountain Empire Unified School District Transportation Department to provide safe, reliable and no cost transportation services with students and safety as our main focus.

The MEUSD Transportation department provides home to school transportation in the form of 14 buses and 18 district vans for all district resident students in the General Education and Special Education programs, we transport an average of 1,320 daily.

The MEUSD Student Transportation Plan is currently in development. Please take the Transportation Plan Survey and provide us input for developing and finalizing our plan.

Hello Pine Valley and Camp Lockett Middle School Families
I hope this message finds you all well.
As you know, we had some great events planned for these two days and our local weather has made us delay both of them. I am sending this message to fill you in on the new schedules.
First, tomorrow will be a normal Friday and all students will report to their school at their regular times.
Freshman Flight for the 8th graders has been rescheduled for next Thursday, March 9, and will be an all-day event.
Unity Day for the 7th graders will be held in May and we will send home more details about that when we get closer to the date.
So for now, please send your student to their regular scheduled school tomorrow morning.

Good Evening CLMS Families

Due to recent weather, the bus will not be able to make it up to the La Posta or the Manzanita reservations. The bus will pick up at the cattle guard at 8:31.

Pick up time for the High School is 8:31 and this will include ALL 8th graders attending Freshman Flight.

All schools in the Mountain Empire Unified School District will be closed Friday, February 24th, due to winter weather and road conditions. Schools and offices will resume normal schedules on Monday, February 27th.

The first one is tomorrow night at Campo Elementary, followed by Descanso Elementary on Wednesday, Potrero Elementary on Thursday, and Clover Flat Elementary next Monday the 13th. They all start at 6:00 pm.

Due to the winter storm forecast and icy road conditions, all schools in the Mountain Empire Unified School District will be closed tomorrow, Monday January 30th, out of an abundance of caution for our students and staff.

Tuesday morning, January 31st, will be a one hour late start day schedule.
