In 1906, a community in Campbellsville, Kentucky came together around a vision: to create a place where students could receive an education rooted in faith, purpose, and service.
They couldn't have known what that vision would become.
From Russell Creek Baptist Academy to Campbellsville College and ultimately Campbellsville University, generations of students, faculty, staff, alumni, churches, and community members have helped shape a story that now reaches around the world.
Through seasons of growth, hardship, change, and opportunity, one thing has endured—a calling to serve others and prepare students for lives of purpose.
Today, 120 years after our founding, students from across the globe continue to come to Campbellsville not simply to receive an education, but to discover their calling and be equipped to go wherever God leads them next.
This is the story of 120 years of faithfulness—and the people who continue to carry the mission forward.
Centered in Christ. Filled with hope. Equipping students to shape the world.
