Join us as we celebrate the launch of the Campbellsville University School of the Arts!

The Campbellsville University School of the Arts includes; the Division of Music, the Department of Art and Design, the Department of Media and Communication, and the Department of Theatre.

The School of the Arts provides students with opportunities to grow as artists, performers, designers, and communicators through experiential learning and faculty mentorship. Whether creating original work, refining technical skills, or exploring new forms of expression, students are challenged to develop their talents while preparing for meaningful careers and lifelong creative pursuits. Through collaboration, innovation, and creative problem-solving, students gain experiences that help them make an impact both professionally and within their communities.

Congrats to recent CU School of Music graduate, Jayson-Michael Tucker, on his new position!

Phil Campbell High School would like to welcome Jayson-Michael Tucker as our new Marching Bobcat Band director and music instructor.

Mr. Tucker, a native of New Hope, MS, recently received his Masters of Music from Campbellsville University in Kentucky. He also served as the assistant band director at Campbellsville Independent Schools.

Mr. Tucker is a graduate of UNA where he was a section leader in the UNA Marching Band and the basketball pep band. He served one year as the band director at Tharptown HS. He was also part of the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corp and interned with the Russellville High School Marching Band.

We will set a time soon for Mr. Tucker to meet with our band students and parents.
