Dr. Dickens has officially launched her Battle of the Deans campaign. ✈️

Literally. 😂

Was a paper airplane the most effective way to spread the word? Debatable.
Did it get your attention? Absolutely. 👀

📅 October 13, 2026
🏆 Mission: Get Dr. Dickens the WIN.

Mark your calendars, rally the troops, and keep an eye out for more Battle of the Deans info coming soon…

Preferably by a communication method with a little less turbulence. ✈️😂

We are proud to share that our Dean, Dr. Michele Dickens, will be presenting at this year’s Appalachian College Association Summit!

She will share the impact of pre-collegiate healthcare immersion programs, like our own Beyond the Stethoscope, and how hands-on experiences can help students discover healthcare careers and envision their future in the field.

We’re proud to have her representing CU and advocating for opportunities that inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals! ❤️🐯

🩺 From Theory to Practice! ❤️

Last Friday, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Vale, and Mrs. Wiser were ready to welcome our Fundamentals students for their first return demonstrations!

There’s always something exciting about watching a new group of nursing students begin connecting what they’ve learned in the classroom to the hands-on skills they’ll use in patient care. Those first demonstrations are about more than mastering a skill—they’re the beginning of building confidence, competence, and clinical judgment. 🩺✨

Every practiced skill is another step toward becoming the capable, compassionate nurses they are called to be.

We love watching it all start to click! ❤️🐯
